I discovered CrossFit in 2007 and instantly became a fan. After several years of doing CrossFit workouts on my own, I joined a local affiliate and was hooked. The sense of community and healthy competition among the members was amazing and inspiring. I saw first-hand the benefits that a sound gym with quality instructors can provide.
In college I rowed varsity Crew, where I first gained my passion for health and fitness. Recently I discovered a new passion in fitness nutrition. Twenty Pound Hammer is my way to explore this new interest and help people lead healthier lives.
I have a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coaching certificate and am hard at work on the year long program to earn my Level 2 certification.
I will be helping CrossFit Twenty Pound Hammer with the back office operations. Additionally, I will be working with clients to help meet their goals via nutrition coaching.
Outside of the gym, I coach youth sports teams for my both kids. If I'm not watching or coaching youth sporting events, then I'm usually spending time with family and friends. I also love being outdoors and especially enjoy skiing in deep powder.
