Our fall social is upon us! Please read below for schedule and event details. As a reminder, we will have only TWO regular Saturday classes: 7am and 8am.
The team competition will run from 10am-12pm, then the BBQ from 12-3pm. We will have a grill going starting at noon, so bring food to grill, sides, beverages, and anything else you might want.
- 9:30-10:00 – competitors and judges arrive
- 10:00 – athlete and judge briefing
- 10:30 – event 1 begins
- 12:00 – BBQ social
There will be THREE events total, with scaled options available. Events 1 and 2 are posted below, while the precise details of event 3 will remain a secret until tomorrow morning.
Event 1 – “Partner Cindy”
AMRAP10: 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 air squats
1 person works at a time, partners alternate rounds
Non working partner holds a high plank
Event 2 – “Gripper the Chipper”
50 toes to bar
50 wall balls (20/14 to 10/9′)
50 partner sit ups
50 shoulder to overhead (95/65)
Divide the reps however you want.
Non-working partner holds two kettlebells farmers carry style (53/35 per hand) for everything except the partner sit ups.
This workout will have a time cap.
Event 3 – “Dueling Duos”
Based on results from events 1 and 2, teams will be pitted against each other (1st vs. 2nd, 3rd vs. 4th, etc.) in a head to head competition. It will be very short and very intense! You’ll have to come tomorrow to find out more. 🙂
