FOUNDATIONS (FOR BEGINNERS)
New to CrossFit, or to working out in general? Looking to get back into a regular fitness routine? Our Foundations classes are designed to prepare you for our group CrossFit classes and individualized coaching.
Foundations is required for all members who are new to CrossFit. In four one-on-one sessions, we will introduce basic movement patterns (squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling) and loaded movements (including barbells, kettlebells, and dumbells) in a progressive way. The focus is always on movement quality, even as your intensity begins to increase.
We have you work one-on-one with a coach in order to ensure adequate personal attention and so that we can tailor your Foundations sessions based on what you need. We have found this sets people up for the most success once they transition into regular classes or our individualized coaching program.
