TPH is going to the snow!

From 2006-2014, Melissa held a wilderness medicine First Responder certification; within her current position, she keeps the basic first aid safety course and is still well versed in wilderness medicine and how to manage scene safety, making her the perfect person to lead our outdoor adventures.
If you’re interested in going, let us know ASAP by emailing Monica. The specific route will be dependent on the fitness levels of those who sign up. The Wenatchee Crest is an option, but we’ll give specific details closer to the event date.
You will need to provide your own snowshoes. One of our members has a hook up for discounts — check the whiteboard at the gym for more details. We can help coordinate transportation as long as you sign up with enough notice — it will be a good idea to plan a carpool from Seattle, as parking on weekends is tough. Sno-Park Permits are required. Expect an early start time to avoid significant crowds! If you have questions about difficulty, equipment, or anything else, let Monica know or ask Melissa if you see her in the gym (she’s an evening-goer, usually around 5.30pm or so).
Looking forward to seeing you use your fitness outside the gym!
