✨Member Spotlight ✨
We have two members to spotlight this week – Meet Srishti and Luiz! Here’s a little bit about them:
💪Describe yourself using one sentence:
Srishti – I’m energetic, curious and a constant learner who loves learning a new skill every chance I get to which basically means I’m a jack of all trades.
Luiz – I’m from Brazil and I love exploring different cuisines and traveling but I only indulge in good food after a tough workout at TPH!
💪 How long have you been a member of TPH?
Srishti – 1.5 years
Luiz – 2.5 years
💪If you could go back and tell your day-one TPH self one thing what would it be?
Srishti – you are not as weak as you think you are, you will build strength slowly but surely and lift heavy!
Luiz – you can do all those thrusters! (The WOD on my first day had a bazillion thrusters!)
💪 What’s your favorite thing to eat in Seattle?
Hamdi (Turkish), Musang (Filipino) and Spice waala (Indian)
💪 What cool things have you used your fitness for outside the gym?
We both do the Spartan race every year (except this year because we were getting married). Srishti ran her fastest 10k this year, and Luiz his fastest 5k! We both love hiking, paddle boarding , and biking to the Eastside.
💪 If you could design your favorite workout what movements would it include?
4 rounds for time:
– 400m run
– 20KB swings
– 50 ft walking lunges
– 20 S2OH
– 15 burpees
– 400m row
Rest for 1:30 minutes between the rounds.
