I started fitness in the 90’s going to the community center with my dad. I’ve always needed a partner or community to help me stay consistent with my fitness. I found my forever community when I started CrossFit in 2011 looking to try something new with my tired fitness routine. In 2020, Kate and I became owners of our first CrossFit gym, now Green Lake Strength & Conditioning. Since then I’ve been constantly learning and improving as a coach, athlete, owner, and more.

My motivation as a coach: I love to watch people grow. I have a particular interest in beginners. Nothing makes me happier than convincing someone they can do something they never imagined possible. I first learned this on the soccer field coaching my 6 year old’s soccer team. The joy of watching that entire team grow from a bunch of kids who didn’t know how to kick a soccer ball to goal scoring machine was so rewarding. Money can’t buy that kind of happiness.
